ThinkPlayful™ partnered with WestEd, a national leader in education research, to conduct an independent randomized controlled trial evaluating the ThinkPlayful™ app. The study concluded in 2025, with results released in September 2025.

Key Findings from WestEd Evaluation
Among families who actively engaged with ThinkPlayful during the study period:
Increased caregiver-child closeness (p < .05) - Caregivers reported significantly greater closeness with their children
Reduced math anxiety (p < .01) - Caregivers experienced significantly lower anxiety around math
Positive family engagement - Families shared that ThinkPlayful provided "new ways to connect" and helped children "maintain interest in numbers and counting"
